Fresubin® YoDrink is a Food for Special Medical Purposes
For the dietary management of patients with or at risk of disease related malnutrition, in particular patients with increased energy and protein needs.
Fresubin® YoDrink is prescribable on FP10/GP10 for the following indications: For the dietary management of patients with or at risk of malnutrition who are not able to meet their nutritional requirements from ordinary foods alone. Includes elderly patients, patients with chronic wasting disease (cancer, HIV/AIDS), peri-operative patients, further patients with evidence based indication for oral nutritional supplementation (eg pre- and post-organ transplantation, inflammatory bowel disease).
