For the dietary management of patients with or at risk of disease related malnutrition with malabsorption.

Survimed OPD HN is prescribable on FP10/GP10 for the following indications: For the dietary management of disease related malnutrition, short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of malnourished patients, dysphagia, proven inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, bowel fistula continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis, haemodialysis.

Contra-indications

• For enteral use only
• Not suitable for children under 3 years of age
• Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia

Precautions

• To be used under medical supervision
• Use with caution for children under 6 years of age
• Monitor feeding rate
• Do not mix with drugs
• Ensure adequate fluid intake
• Do not use if bag is damaged or swollen or contents is coagulated
