PUBLIC NOTICE

CAUTION AGAINST FRAUDULANT BUSINESS SCHEMES OFFERED VIA SMS, CALLS,

WHATSAPP MESSAGES, WEBSITE LINKS, MOBILE APPS, ADVERTISEMENTS ETC. IN THE

NAME OF FRESENIUS

This is to notify the public at large that recently we have been reported with instances

wherein some unknown and unscrupulous individuals/group of individuals/entities are

posing and representing themselves as officials, employees, representatives or agents of

Fresenius/Fresenius Kabi/Fresenius Kabi AG and its associated group companies (hereinafter

‘Fresenius’) and offering fraudulent financial schemes with the ulterior motive to defraud

the public. These individual/group of individuals/entities attempts to extract money from

the general public by offering fraudulent schemes of buy and lease-out of Fresenius’ medical

equipment and asking people to deposit money in certain bank accounts which have been

illegally opened in the name of FRESENIUS and falsely assuring fixed income against such

investment.

It is known that these frauds are being perpetrated through advertisements, SMS,

unsolicited calls, WhatsApp messages, websites, mobile apps, and other Social media

platform like Facebook, Instagram, Telegram etc. By using fraudulent names like “FSUS” on

mobile applications and website links such as

https://fsusmateriai.com/index/message/about.html / https://fususmaterial.com , these

fraudsters have committed to the false and unauthorised use of Fresenius’ name and logo ,

its / false Power of Attorney, and are displaying false certificates in the name of some

imaginary ‘Ministry of DST and Regulatory Affairs India’ falsely using the national flag and

emblem of India, and logos of some well-known Indian banks on some fabricated

documents including forged letterhead of Fresenius.

While the matter is reported to the concerned authorities, we wish to caution the public

that Fresenius does NOT involve itself in any way either directly or through any

representative or agent in offering any such financial schemes to any individual.

We wish to reiterate that any individual investing in such fraudulent financial schemes by

responding to such false messages, calls or emails etc. would be doing so at their own risk,

and Fresenius and its officials, directors and employees shall not be in any way held

responsible for any consequential loss or damage suffered by such persons, either directly

or indirectly.

General public are advised to be cautious of such fraudulent and unscrupulous schemes and

are advised to carry out adequate due diligence by visiting our official website
