Fresenius Kabi Hosts Over 100 Global Experts at FRANC Oncology Conference

Healthcare professionals from 33 countries gather to advance nutrition management in patient-centric oncology care

Recently, Fresenius Kabi had the distinct honor of welcoming over 100 healthcare professionals from 33 different countries to our headquarters in Bad Homburg for the FRANC2024 Oncology – the Fresenius Kabi Advanced Nutrition Conference. This prestigious event also saw the participation of our dedicated employees from local markets, regional departments, and the Global Business Unit Pharma, Nutrition & Sustainability.

The conference brought together a diverse group of experts, including oncologists, dieticians, nutritionists, and surgeons, all of whom gathered to refresh their knowledge and exchange valuable insights on nutrition management within a patient-centric oncology care setting. This event provided a unique platform for attendees to expand their international network, share experiences with peers, and stay updated on the latest scientific and clinical evidence aimed at improving nutrition management in the daily clinical practice of oncology.

Renowned speakers such as Dr. Matti Aapro from Switzerland and Dr. Vanessa Fuchs-Tarlovsky from Mexico led a series of interactive sessions, workshops, and discussions. These sessions were designed to focus on the practical implementation of nutrition management in daily routines, real-world patient cases, and best practices. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities and collaborative discussions, which enriched their learning experience.

The event was a resounding success, offering high-value medical-scientific content and fostering a collaborative environment where healthcare professionals could learn, grow, and enhance their skills. The positive feedback from participants highlighted the conference's impact on their professional development and its contribution to advancing the field of oncology nutrition.
