SAP Ariba Guides for Suppliers

Fresenius Kabi has engaged with SAP Ariba to standardise the onboarding of suppliers. 

The following guides are to support suppliers through the process of registration on the Ariba Network, as well as how-to guides for completion of questionnaires.

Supplier Registration Guide

The supplier’s guide to registration on the Ariba supplier network is a step-by-step guide on how to set up an Ariba Network account starting from the receipt of the invitation e-mail. Instructions on topics such as creating a new account, resetting a username or password and responding to or revising a registration questionnaire and CSR self-assessment are covered in this document.

Setting up an Ariba Network Account – Help Video

This video will walk you through the steps to create a new account on the Ariba Network (also known as the SAP Business Network). It also shows how to reset the username or password as well as where to find Fresenius Kabi questionnaires and where to update your company’s Ariba profile.

Responding to the Global Registration Questionnaire and CSR Self-Assessment – Help Video

This video walks you through how to respond to the global registration questionnaire, focussing on the key fields such as contact information and tax information and bank information. It also describes how to respond to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) self-assessment.

Supplier Qualification Questionnaire Guide

This Supplier Guide includes step-by-step instructions on how to complete the Qualification Process Questionnaire. Topics covered include how to access the questionnaire, respond to the Supplier Self-Assessment. Please note the Qualification Process Questionnaire is only applicable if you have been requested to complete it by Fresenius Kabi.

Supplier Modular Questionnaire Guide

This Supplier Guide includes step-by-step instructions on how to complete the Modular Questionnaires. Topics covered include how to access the questionnaire, as well as responding to the request for Environmental Health and Safety certification and for Insurance and Risk certification sections. Please note the Modular Questionnaire is only applicable if you have been requested to complete it by Fresenius Kabi. Ariba account creation information, similar to the registration guide, is also included.

Auction Support Guide

This guide aims to support suppliers through the process of participating in an Auction. Themes covered include How to access an event if you are new to Ariba or if you are already set up on Ariba.  How to participate with once logged into Ariba including accepting or declining to respond, selection of lots or line items and bidding in the auction.  How to communicate with Fresenius Kabi buyers during the auction.

RFX (Request for Information, Proposal or Quotation)

This guide aims to support suppliers through the process of participating in RFX events. Themes covered include: How to access an event if you are new to Ariba or if you are already set up on Ariba. How to participate with once logged into Ariba including accepting or declining to respond. How to select Lots, attaching supporting documentation and entering bids. How to communicate with Fresenius Kabi buyers during the process.

Depending on the type of event (RFI, RFP or RFQ) certain sections (e.g. Lots) may not be required to be completed.
