Fresubin® 2250 Complete

Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional according to the patient's needs.

As a guide: Recommendation for complete nutrition: ≥ 1500ml (2250kcal)/day.
 

• High-caloric (1.5kcal/ml)
• For complete nutrition in 2250kcal (one bag per day)
• With fish oil
• Contains fibre (including prebiotic fibre)
• Unflavoured
• Gluten and lactose free

Storage

• Store at room temperature, do not store above 25°C.
• Once opened, use within 24 hours.
• Shake well before use

• 15 months from date of manufacture

For the dietary management of patients with or at risk of disease related malnutrition, in particular with increased energy and protein needs and/or fluid restrictions.

Fresubin 2250 Complete is currently a PCRS reimbursable item and requires no additional online approval. It is also prescribable on FP10/GP10 for the following indications: For the dietary management of disease related malnutrition, short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of malnourished patients, dysphagia, proven inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, bowel fistula.

• Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia

• Use with caution in children under 6 years of age
• Ensure adequate fluid intake
• Monitor feeding rate
• Do not mix with drugs
• Do not use if bag is damaged or swollen or content coagulated
