"Home Parenteral Support (HPS) will turn your life around."

Meet Joe and Elaine

After spending seven and half months in the hospital, including seven weeks in Intensive Care, Joe's health was deteriorating quickly. His bowel was removed down to 30 cm, which then stopped him from eating and drinking as normal. As a result, Joe started to receive parenteral nutrition.

After a few months of receiving parenteral nutrition in the hospital, Joe was sent home on Home Parenteral Support (HPS), which was provided by Calea.

Watch Joe's story below and hear how HPS has improved Joe's health and quality of life, how he and his wife Elaine make the most of their day and their advice for patients new to HPS treatment.

"Try to get your mind into this is going to help, and it's a positive intervention."
